The Letter: Join us on Sunday, April 21 for the screening of “The Letter”. This screening will be held upstairs in our Fellowship Hall at 3:30 p.m.

A Volunteer’s Coffee: Volunteers and members of the Dail Bread Kitchen team will meet on Saturday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m.

Tree Planting: In cooperation with the Town of Woodstock, our church is being gifted two trees of our choice. We wish to plant these trees after worship on Sunday, April 28.          

Laudato Si: A Bible Study for the Earth: This spring, our Bible study will focus on creation texts from scripture and their intersection both with the miraculous beauty of creation and broader questions about the relationship between God, humans and the earth. Here’s how to Join: Zoom Meet– Tuesdays at 3 p.m. at Zoom Meeting #499 229 1706 Passcode: Jesus 4/23-5/28 In person– Join us for “Lunch and Learn” in the Parish Hall on Wednesdays at Noon 4/24-5/29

Earth Care Fair!: Join us Saturday, May 4th from 11 am-3 pm as we meet the community and celebrate at an Earth Care Fair! Throughout the day, we will be on the lawn with seed planting, fly casting demonstrations and other resources to enhoy the earth and God’s creation. Speakers and demonstrators will include Maralee Manos Jones, “The Butterfly Lady”, Julia Santos Solomon, Trout Unlimited, and more!

Save egg shells: As part of our Earth Day Fair, Melanie Camara we will be demonstrating how to plant seeds in an environmentally friendly egg shell half. Help us out by saving the two halves of your egg shell. They may be rinsed out in preparation for the seeds and soil. Helpers are always welcomed!

Songs of the Sea: May 11th at 5 p.m.: Mariana Barcellos sat by the Hudson River while composing music for her album, ”Cantos Do Mar.” It inspired joy for its power and beauty and mowed her to lament for the pollution around us. Free donations will benefit a water conservation group.

Parking!! The Mowers have assured us that church parking is welcome on Sunday mornings in Deanie’s Alley, even though it is marked otherwise. There are spaces under the trees in the field as well for use on non-wet days. Please ask! There’s a place for everyone!

.Sign-up Sheet:  Please see the sign-up at the back of the sanctuary.  An opportunity to serve during worship is available.

 Adam’s Gift Card Fundraiser:  Need an Adam’s Gift Card for shopping or for a gift?  Please let us know by e-mailing  us at:  bulletin@christwoodstock.org to arrange a safe and contactless pick up!  For each Adam’s Card purchased, our congregation receives 10% of the total.  Thank you for supporting this fundraiser!

“Pause and Pray”:  We invite you each Wednesday at noon to join us wherever you are to “Pause” and join our congregation in prayer.

Snow Cancellation Policy:  Christ’s Lutheran Church activities are cancelled whenever Onteora Schools close for bad weather.  If you have questions regarding the cancellation of our Sunday Worship due to unsafe weather conditions, please call Pastor Sonja at 389-2481 or our church council president, Tony Cocozza at 657-6044.

Christmas Mission Project: Please consider a donation to Lutheran World Relief’s “Barn Yard” fundraiser for the purchase of farm animals as gifts to farmers in developing countries.

Just a Reminder:  If you wish to have a comfortable temperature during your meetings, please contact David Adler at 679-5328.  He will program the thermostats to provide heat for your meeting.
